Sid Seixeiro Critiques Ronaldo's Goal-Scoring Focus
Sid Seixeiro, a Canadian TV show host, criticized Cristiano Ronaldo following the forward's departure from the Portuguese national team. On the Sid Seixeiro Show, Seixeiro claimed that Ronaldo, at 41 years old, prioritizes scoring goals over other contributions like running or drawing defenders.
He stated that Ronaldo's ambition to score 1,000 goals is driven by ego, particularly as it represents a distinction from Lionel Messi, who has not reached that milestone. Seixeiro further asserted that while Messi is respected and liked by his teammates, Ronaldo does not enjoy the same level of respect within the Portuguese team.
This commentary reflects ongoing debates about the two football icons and their respective impacts on their teams.
