Pregnant Woman, Cleric Killed in Bandit Attack on Kwara Villages, Eight Abducted

Bandits attacked villages in Kwara State, resulting in the death of a pregnant woman, a cleric, and others. The assailants abducted at least eight villagers and injured several more, while also stealing motorcycles.

The attack in Patigi local government area led to a confrontation with security forces, leaving some bandits wounded. Residents expressed distress over the prolonged operation of the gunmen without immediate intervention.
