Kristian Prenga Backs Anthony Joshua to Defeat Tyson Fury

Kristian Prenga believes Anthony Joshua can reclaim the heavyweight championship and is backing him to defeat Tyson Fury, despite having dropped Joshua twice in their bout on July 26 at the Jeddah Superdome in Saudi Arabia. Prenga, who nearly stopped Joshua in the first round, stated that Joshua possesses the necessary physicality, skillset, and work ethic to return to the top of the heavyweight division.

He expressed confidence in Joshua's ability to win against Fury, calling it an exciting but challenging matchup. Negotiations for the long-anticipated fight between Joshua and Fury are ongoing, with Cardiff's Principality Stadium emerging as a leading venue option after uncertainty regarding a move to Madison Square Garden in New York.

Fury's manager, Spencer Brown, confirmed that November and December remain potential dates for the fight. Prenga has not yet signed with Matchroom Boxing, clarifying that no agreement has been reached.
