President Tinubu to Present 2026 Budget to National Assembly, Outlining 54.46 Trillion Naira Plan

President Tinubu is set to present the 2026 budget to the National Assembly, seeking approval for a fiscal plan totaling 54.46 trillion Naira. The budget proposal includes revenue projections, borrowing plans, and expenditure estimates, with a fiscal deficit of 20.13 trillion Naira.

The presentation is scheduled for December 19, 2025, before a joint session of the National Assembly, as stated in a letter read by Speaker Abba Tajudeen. The budget also covers areas such as pension, debt servicing, and special intervention funds.
