President Tinubu Takes Action on ₦4 Trillion Debt Owed to Federal Contractors

President Tinubu has taken action on the ₦4 trillion debt owed to federal contractors by setting up a high-level committee to resolve the issue. The President expressed his displeasure with the situation during a meeting in Abuja.

The committee, led by key officials including Wale Edun and Atiku Bagudu, will work towards finding solutions to the debt owed by the federal government to over 2,000 contractors. The Bureau of Public Procurement and the Federal Inland Revenue Service are also involved in the process.
