Presidential Council Commends FRSC for Clearing Driver's License Backlog

The Presidential Enabling Environment Council (PEBEC) commends the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) for clearing the driver's license backlog in Nigeria. FRSC conducted an internal review to identify and address bottlenecks, increasing daily production capacity to 15,000 licenses.

The introduction of a contactless biometric capture system aims to deliver permanent licenses within 48 hours, eliminating the need for temporary licenses. Princess Zahrah Mustapha Audu, Director-General of PEBEC, emphasizes the commitment to collaboration for seamless and efficient public service delivery.
