Ayodele Warns Tinubu of Insecurity Threats Ahead of 2027

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, issued a warning to President Tinubu regarding the escalating insecurity in Nigeria, which he believes could severely impact Tinubu's prospects for a second term in the 2027 elections. This prophecy was communicated through a statement by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, on September 15.

Ayodele identified security as a critical challenge as the campaign season approaches, predicting that public protests over insecurity would likely increase. He specifically mentioned that the situation could worsen significantly towards the end of the year, particularly in November and December.

Ayodele called for security agencies to intensify their efforts, stating that current measures are insufficient. He also warned that insecurity could disrupt campaign activities, affecting politicians and their convoys.

While acknowledging some progress by security operatives, he emphasized that their actions have not adequately addressed the depth of the problem.
