Rev. Matilukuro to Retire as Primate in September 2026

Rev. Sundai Oludar Matilukuro, the Primate of the First African Church Mission Worldwide, is set to retire at the end of September 2026.

His tenure has been characterized by a strong commitment to evangelism, humanitarian outreach, and church growth over the past two decades. Dr.

Solomon Ola Komolaf, Chairman of the Primate Retirement Committee, and Rt. Rev.

Boma William, Secretary of the Committee, commended Matilukuro's achievements, which include the construction of a prayer city in Omu, Ogun State, and the establishment of model primary and secondary schools. Matilukuro's leadership has also seen the completion of the Bishop Jones Memorial Theological Institute in Ota, Ogun State, and the introduction of bi-annual training programs for ministers.

He has played a pivotal role in various development projects, including the revitalization of several parishes and the establishment of new church locations. Matilukuro began his ministry as a lay preacher 25 years ago and was formally inducted into the Holy Order of the First African Church Mission in 1998.
