Pro-Tinubu Group Targets 4 Million Votes in Southeast

The Renew Hope Greater Nigeria (RHGN) group announced its plan to target four million votes in the Southeast for the 2027 presidential elections during a press conference on July 9, 2026, in Owerri, Imo State. Mazi Franklin Ngoforo, the deputy national leader of the Southeast chapter, stated that the group would deploy a "booth army" consisting of 50 members at every polling unit to focus on voter mobilization and vote protection.

Ngoforo emphasized that this initiative is serious and disciplined, aiming to ensure that the votes of the Ndigbo are accurately counted. He mentioned that the group has already established structures across the states of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo.

Additionally, Ngoforo outlined the group's goals, which include advocating for increased federal allocations, implementing the Petroleum Industry Act, and establishing a fund for Southeast development. The RHGN is also working to reduce the impact of sit-at-home orders that have affected market activities in the region.
