NNPC Unveils Performance Scorecard, Seeks Energy Partnerships

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, represented by Engr Bashir Bayo Ojulari, has called for stronger collaborations across Nigeria's energy industry during the 25th NOG Energy Week held in Abuja. Ojulari presented the company's one-year performance scorecard, noting significant achievements including an average operational recovery rate of 98% across its five crude oil export terminals and an increase in crude oil production to 1.71 million barrels per day, the highest in five years.

NNPC also reported a rise in gas production to 7.5 billion standard cubic feet per day following the completion of the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano gas pipeline. The company has maintained 100% compliance with joint venture cash call obligations and signed a landmark gas sale purchase agreement covering 1.29 billion standard cubic feet per day.

Ojulari emphasized the need for stakeholders to embrace strategic partnerships to build an integrated value chain within the energy sector.
