Olaid Olabanji Accuses Mercy Aigbe of Betrayal

Olaid Olabanji, a veteran Nollywood actor and film producer, has publicly accused popular actress Mercy Aigbe of betrayal. In an interview with media personality Oyinmomo, Olabanji recounted how he discovered Aigbe's potential in 2004 when she was still unknown in the Nigerian film industry.

He claimed to have supported her early career by assisting her in entering the Nollywood scene. However, he alleged that their relationship deteriorated as Aigbe gained fame, becoming distant and unfriendly.

Olabanji further claimed that the situation worsened when Aigbe allegedly blocked him across various social media platforms, effectively cutting off all communication. He attempted to obtain a response from Aigbe but was unsuccessful at the time of the report.
