George Moghalu Emerges as Labour Party Flagbearer for Anambra Gubernatorial Election

George Moghalu, a former Managing Director of the Nation Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), secured the Labour Party's governorship ticket in Anambra with 575 delegate votes. Moghalu, born in Nnewi, has a background in business administration and has held various leadership roles in the private sector.

His deputy, Ifeoma Veronica Okaro, a retired educationist, joins him in promising transparent governance, youth empowerment, and infrastructure revitalization across Anambra's 21 local government areas. Moghalu's campaign focuses on restoring trust in good governance and redefining leadership through service.
