Prophet Woli Arugbo Ojo Arrested Over Toluwanisings' Claims

Woli Arugbo Ojo, a TikTok prophet, was reportedly taken into police custody by the Ibadan Area Command following his controversial prediction that late gospel singer Toluwanisings would be resurrected. The arrest occurred after a formal complaint was lodged by Toluwanisings' personal assistant, who alleged that the prophet made accusations against him concerning the singer's death.

The police demanded that Ojo provide evidence to support his claims. DSP Ayanlade Olayinka, the Police Public Relations Officer, stated he was unaware of the arrest when contacted.

Toluwanisings, whose real name was Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, passed away on October 14, 2026, after collapsing at his home in Ibadan. His personal assistant previously claimed that multiple hospitals refused to provide emergency treatment when the singer was brought in.

The circumstances of Toluwanisings' death have led to disputes within his family regarding burial arrangements.
