PSG Secures Fifth Consecutive Ligue 1 Title with Win

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) clinched their fifth straight Ligue 1 title on Wednesday, defeating RC Lens 2-0. The match featured a decisive goal from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who scored his 19th goal of the season in the first half.

Substitute Ibrahim Mbaye added a second goal in stoppage time. This victory allowed PSG to extend their lead at the top of the league to nine points, following their previous triumph against Brest, which secured a six-point lead over Lens.

With only two matches left in the season, PSG has a significantly superior goal difference. The team, managed by Luis Enrique, has now won a record 14 French titles, with 12 of those coming in the last 14 years since the Qatari ownership began.

PSG's achievements this season also include winning the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup. They are set to face Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League final on May 30, 2026.
