Achraf Hakimi Out with Injury Ahead of Bayern Clash

Achraf Hakimi, a key player for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), has been sidelined due to a right thigh injury, which will prevent him from participating in the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg against Bayern Munich. Hakimi played the full 90 minutes in the first leg, contributing an assist in a thrilling 4-3 victory, marking a historic achievement for PSG as they became the second team in UEFA Champions League history to score at least four goals in a knockout match.

His injury leaves PSG without one of their most influential players as they prepare for a crucial domestic run, including a significant Ligue 1 clash against Lens on May 13. Hakimi has had a consistent season, featuring in 31 matches across competitions, with three goals and eight assists, ranking fourth in the squad for assists.

Additionally, PSG confirmed that goalkeeper Luca Chevalier will also miss several weeks due to a thigh injury sustained in training.
