PSG Defeats Monaco 3-1, Advances in Champions League

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) overcame AS Monaco 3-1 to secure their place in the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League. Monaco took the lead just before halftime with a goal from Mamad Coulibali, who finished a pass from Maghn Akliouch into the bottom corner.

The game changed dramatically when Coulibali received a second yellow card for a tackle on Achraf Hakimi, leaving Monaco with ten men. PSG quickly leveled the score with Marquinhos scoring from a low cross by Desir Doué.

Kvaratskhelia then ensured PSG's victory in the 66th minute, converting a low strike from Hakimi. Although Jordan Teze scored a consolation goal for Monaco in stoppage time, PSG's win confirmed their advancement to the next round, where they will face either Chelsea or Barcelona, with the opponent to be determined in a draw on Friday.
