Qatar Sets Conditions for Free 90-Day Tourist Visa

Qatar's Ministry of Interior has announced the conditions under which citizens from 34 nationalities can obtain a free tourist visa that allows for a 90-day stay in Qatar. This visa is valid for 180 days from the date of issue and permits multiple entries.

It is important to note that the visa cannot be extended under any circumstances. To qualify, applicants must ensure their passport has at least six months of validity remaining at the time of travel.

Additionally, holders must present a confirmed onward or return ticket. The visa will be issued as a sticker placed directly on the traveller's passport rather than digitally.

The 90-day duration refers to the allowed stay within the 180-day validity period. Nationalities not included in the list must apply through the standard visa process, which may involve fees and additional documentation.
