QNET and Manchester City Host Football Clinic in Ghana

QNET, in partnership with Manchester City Football Club, successfully hosted a football clinic in Accra, Ghana, from May 21 to May 24, 2026. The event brought together 25 promising young Ghanaian footballers aged 7 to 11, offering them a unique opportunity to receive mentorship from official Manchester City coaches.

The clinic aimed to inspire participants by teaching not only football skills and tactics but also essential life skills such as teamwork, leadership, discipline, perseverance, and self-belief. Trevor Kuna, Chief Network Development at QNET, emphasized the importance of providing young people with opportunities to prove themselves on the pitch.

Cherif Abdoulay, QNET's Deputy Regional General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, noted the positive impact of similar initiatives in Nigeria and expressed confidence in the potential of Ghanaian youth. QNET has maintained a long-standing partnership with Manchester City and the Confederation of African Football (CAF), reflecting its commitment to youth empowerment and community development across Africa.
