Bola Tinubu Advocates for Quality Education at FUT Minna's Convocation Ceremony

At the 34th convocation ceremony of the Federal University of Technology Minna (FUT Minna) in Niger State, Bola Tinubu stressed the significance of ensuring that quality education is accessible to all, regardless of financial limitations. The Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suwaiba Sa'id Ahmad, highlighted the central role of education in national development and the government's efforts to expand access to education through infrastructure investments and student loan schemes.

FUT Minna was commended for its contributions to the nation's development over its 43-year history, with the institution ranking among the top universities in Nigeria and Africa. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Farouk Kuta, outlined the university's strategic expansion plans to address societal challenges, particularly in healthcare professions and technology-driven fields.

Notably, the best graduating student, Koter Oluwadamilola, from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, was recognized for her outstanding academic achievements among the 5,297 graduates during the 2024-2025 academic session.
