Katsina Governor Launches SPRiNG Program for Peace and Stability

Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has introduced the SPRiNG program aimed at promoting peace, stability, and climate resilience in the state. The four-year initiative, running from 2024 to 2028, is a collaborative effort involving various organizations such as Tetra Tech International Development, Nextier SPD, CDD, and HD.

The program focuses on addressing security challenges, including conflicts, climate-related issues, and criminal activities through both kinetic and non-kinetic interventions. Dr.

Ukoha Ukiwo, the team leader, highlighted the program's goal of strengthening peace, security, and justice institutions while fostering community engagement and conflict resolution.
