He criticized public figures for their comments on insecurity, urging caution in their public statements. Meanwhile, Afrobeat singer Davido performed at a 2026 FIFA World Cup countdown concert, wearing a jacket that featured the names of abducted schoolchildren from Oyo State.

His performance aimed to draw global attention to the ongoing insecurity and abductions in Nigeria. Rarara's mother was abducted last year, and a ransom was reportedly paid for her release.
