The 2025 Kano International Polo Tournament is set to commence on September 21, with a record 40 teams participating. The event, initially scheduled to start on September 24, was moved forward due to the overwhelming number of entries.

The tournament will feature the Dangote Cup and MRS Cup, with a draw ceremony on September 15 at the Usman Dantata Polo Club in Kano. The Chairman of Kano Polo, Tajudeen Dantata, assured a thrilling and memorable tournament, emphasizing the completion of preparations to deliver value to sponsors and participants.
