Kenneth Okonkwo Demands Release of Nnamdi Kanu or Political Solution

Kenneth Okonkwo, a member of the African Democratic Congress, has called for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), who is currently in custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) following his re-arrest in June 2021. Okonkwo emphasized the need for a political solution to Kanu's case, criticizing the government for what he perceives as poor dispensation of justice.

Various political figures, including Benjamin Kalu, have also urged the federal government to address the situation.
