Amaka Igwe, a talented Nigerian filmmaker, was a pioneer in the country's entertainment industry, known for her work in soap operas and video films. Born on January 2, 1963, in Port Harcourt, she rose to fame for her critically acclaimed productions like "Checkmate" and "Rattlesnake." Igwe founded her own studio, Amaka Igwe Studios, and was the CEO of Top Radio 90.9FM.
