Senator Tinubu Launches N1bn Women Empowerment Program in Cross River State

Senator Oluremi Tinubu launched a N1 billion women empowerment program in Cross River State, Nigeria, in partnership with the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF). The Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) Women Economic Empowerment Programme aims to support 500 women traders and small business owners to boost their enterprises.

The initiative, represented by the RHI State Coordinator and the wife of the Cross River State Governor, Bishop Eyoanwan Otu, is designed to economically strengthen households and communities by empowering women. The TEF's donation of N1 billion will support women across all 36 states and the FCT.

The program was commended by the Cross River State Governor and the TEF for its vision to uplift Nigerian women.
