African CEOs are intensifying their focus on AI investments and upskilling efforts to enhance decision-making processes and drive business growth, as per a recent report by Boston Consulting Group (BCG). The report reveals that CEOs in Africa are taking a hands-on approach to AI strategies, with 72% considering themselves as the main decision-makers in AI adoption.

The study also emphasizes the shift towards value-driven transformations rather than competitive pressures. African companies are set to double their technology spending by 2026, allocating significant resources to AI initiatives.
