Reps Committee Mediates Dangote-NUPENG Dispute for Petroleum Sector Stability

The House of Representatives Committee on Petroleum Resources Downstream is working to resolve the ongoing dispute between Dangote Group and NUPENG to ensure stability and fairness in the downstream petroleum sector. The committee, led by Hon Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, aims to mediate and prevent the conflict from affecting operations and energy security in Nigeria.

Discussions at a retreat in Lagos also focused on challenges facing local refineries, including securing reliable crude supply and ensuring transparency in crude allocation and pricing. The committee is committed to delivering reforms for efficiency and competitiveness in the sector.
