NNPP Expels Reps Member Kofa for Non-Payment of Dues

The Kano State chapter of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) has expelled House of Representatives member Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa for allegedly failing to pay party dues. The NNPP accused Kofa of not meeting his financial obligations and engaging in activities detrimental to the party.

The party chairman, Hashim Sulaiman Dungurawa, described Kofa as a weak politician who rode to electoral success on the Kwankwasiyya movement's platform. Dungurawa emphasized that Kofa's strength lies in the movement rather than his personal political abilities.

Kofa had joined NNPP after failing to secure a nomination from the APC.
