Gombe Reps Minority Whip Advocates Peaceful Coexistence

On Friday, during the inauguration of an ultra-modern mosque in Buwang Community, Balanga Local Government Area, Gombe State, Dr. Ali Isa, the minority whip of the House of Representatives representing Billiri/Balanga Federal Constituency, called for peaceful coexistence and justice among community leaders.

He emphasized the need for fairness and urged citizens to respect the constitution, asserting that peace ultimately comes from God. Dr.

Isa commended Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Yahaya for ongoing development projects, highlighting that the new mosque would unify the community and serve as a place of worship promoting peace. Chief Imam Sheikh Hamza Abdulhamid delivered the first Friday sermon, urging Muslims to observe the five daily prayers as fundamental to Islam.

The event also featured calls for unity across religious lines, with various leaders, including representatives from Christian and Muslim organizations, advocating for collaborative development efforts in the community.
