Segun Tomori Declares Candidacy for Oshodi-Isolo Seat

Segun Tomori, who previously served as a special assistant to the media minister, has announced his candidacy for the House of Representatives seat representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency II in Lagos. His declaration was made on a Sunday, emphasizing his commitment to the constituents.

Tomori, who has been active in politics since 2010, has a history of working with notable figures such as Bola Tinubu and Dele Alak. He aims to leverage his experience to improve community health, support vulnerable families, and develop youth sports and education programs.

Tomori's political journey began with the Action Congress of Nigeria, which later evolved into the All Progressives Congress (APC). He is motivated by a desire to contribute meaningfully to national development and to align with President Bola Tinubu's agenda.

Tomori plans to leave his current cabinet position by March 30, 2026, to focus on his campaign.
