Yul Edochie Advocates for Respect in Relationships

Yul Edochie, a Nollywood actor, has urged men to exit unhealthy relationships that do not prioritize respect. In a recent post, he cautioned against enduring disrespect in the name of love or marriage, stating that if a partner fails to show respect, they do not deserve to remain in the relationship.

Edochie emphasized that respect is a non-negotiable aspect of any partnership. His comments come in the wake of personal controversies, including his announcement in April 2022 of marrying Judi Austin as his second wife, which sparked backlash, particularly from his first wife, Mai Edochie.

Following this, Mai filed for divorce in August 2023, demanding N100 million in damages. Additionally, Edochie has ventured into ministry, launching an online church called True Salvation Ministry, responding to what he describes as a divine call.
