Askari To n ko Fuji Announces Return with New Album

Alhaji Isiaka Ishola Adeyinka, a veteran Fuji musician popularly known as Askari To n ko Fuji, has announced his full return to the music scene following his retirement from the Nigeria Police Force, where he served as a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP). He stated that retirement has allowed him to focus entirely on his passion for music, which he successfully combined with his law enforcement career.

Adeyinka is currently finalizing a new 12-track album, his first major project since leaving the force, with one track dedicated to the campaign for the creation of Ibadan State. He plans to devote more time to his traditional responsibilities as the Mogaji Alare of the Agbejonku Royal Dynasty and a High Chief in Ibadan.

The album, which is yet to be titled, is scheduled for release at the end of August 2026 and will be available in Compact Disc format and on major digital streaming platforms. His last album, Ibadan, celebrated the cultural heritage of Ibadan and Oyo State.
