Nigerian States Benefit from Doubled Revenue Post-Subsidy Removal

Since the removal in May 2023, the government has seen positive impacts, despite initial challenges. The price of PMS has fluctuated, reaching N1000 per liter at one point.

Inflation rates have also varied, with food inflation standing at 21% in July. The government is focused on recovering from the subsidy removal and investing in key areas to benefit Nigerians in the long run.
