Wike Endorses Chinda as APC Gubernatorial Candidate

On Monday, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, endorsed Kingsley Chinda as the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for Rivers State. Wike emphasized Chinda's political pedigree and experience, asserting that he is a suitable candidate for the governorship.

During a tour to inspect various infrastructure projects in Abuja, Wike expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of ongoing projects, which reflect the commitment of President Bola Tinubu's administration to deliver visible governance. Wike inspected the Renew Hope City Road project, which is 98% complete, and commended the contractor, Lubrik Construction Company, for their excellent delivery.

He also noted significant progress on the Keffi and Dei-Dei road projects, with asphalt work largely completed and streetlights being installed. Additionally, Wike visited the Kuje-Gwagwalada road project and the City Gate project, which is set to redefine the entrance to Abuja, promising completion by early June.
