Rivers Police Arrest Kidnappers Who Killed Victim After Ransom Collection

Three suspected kidnappers who killed a victim in Rivers State after collecting a ransom of N6.9 million have been apprehended by the Rivers State Police Command. The suspects, identified as Hassan Mohammed, Bello Abubakar, and Yusuf Ahmed, were involved in the kidnapping of Humphrey Wagbara in Ikwerre local government area.

Additionally, they kidnapped another victim, Mercy Chinyere, and collected a ransom before being arrested. The police operation, led by operatives attached to the Anti-Cultism Unit, resulted in the successful capture of the suspects.

The arrests were part of efforts to combat kidnapping and ensure the safety of residents in the state.
