Seven PAOK Fans Killed in Tragic Road Crash on the Way to Europa League Match

Seven fans of the Greek club PAOK were tragically killed in a road crash while traveling to watch their team's Europa League match against Olympique Lyonnais in France. The fans were traveling in a black minivan on the E70 highway near the town of Lugoj in Romania when the accident occurred.

The minivan attempted to overtake a car and collided head-on with an oncoming lorry. Three Greek nationals sustained serious injuries and were taken to the hospital.

The Romanian emergency services responded promptly, but unfortunately, seven men aged 28-30 lost their lives at the scene. The mayor of Thessaloniki, Stelio Angeloudis, expressed condolences to the families of the victims.

An investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the crash.
