Rooney Predicts City Advantage, Warns Spurs of Relegation

Wayne Rooney has expressed that Manchester City holds a psychological advantage in the Premier League title race ahead of their crucial match against Arsenal. City recently secured a 3-0 victory over Chelsea, while Arsenal suffered a 2-1 defeat against AFC Bournemouth, leaving them six points clear at the top.

Rooney suggests that whoever wins the upcoming clash at the Etihad Stadium will become the title favorites. He advises Arsenal, managed by Mikel Arteta, to adopt a pragmatic approach.

Additionally, Rooney sounded the alarm for Tottenham Hotspur, who are currently in the relegation zone after a defeat to Sunderland and a loss to West Ham United. He noted that Spurs have not won a league game since 2026 and will host Brighton & Hove Albion next.

Rooney emphasized the urgency for the new manager, Roberto De Zerbi, to quickly turn the team's fortunes around.
