Meurer insisted that she and Dikeh were friends and refuted claims that Dikeh introduced her to Churchill, asserting that their relationship began independently of any prior connections.

She challenged critics to provide proof of their assertions, emphasizing that the narrative circulating on social media is fabricated. Meurer also highlighted that she is eight to ten years older than Dikeh and expressed her frustration over the rumors, stating that they are not funny and have persisted for a long time.
