Rwandan Investors Show Interest in Dangote Refinery IPO

The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) of Rwanda has reported significant interest from investors in the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Dangote Refinery. The CMA is facilitating participation by investors and has advised interested parties to register their interest with United Capital Financial Services Rwanda Ltd through its designated platform.
However, the CMA clarified that registering interest does not equate to a subscription for or allocation of shares. The Dangote Refinery is currently raising capital on the Nigerian Exchange, offering 4.1 billion ordinary shares at a price of ₦525 per share.
If fully subscribed, the IPO could raise approximately ₦2.15 trillion. The offer commenced on September 14, 2026, and is scheduled to close on October 13, 2026.
