Samuel Ahmadu Appointed FCC Chairman's Spokesperson

Samuel Ahmadu has been appointed as the special assistant for media to the Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Haluyat Motunrayo Omidiran, as disclosed in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja. This appointment is intended to strengthen the Commission's communication framework and enhance public engagement, ensuring effective dissemination of information regarding the FCC's mandates and policies.

In his new role, Ahmadu will provide media and communication support to the Executive Chairman, which includes coordinating press relations, overseeing digital communication platforms, managing media coverage of official activities, and developing strategic communication initiatives to ensure accurate and timely engagement with stakeholders and the general public. Ahmadu brings nearly two decades of professional experience in journalism and public relations, having served as an editor for various sports media outlets and as a media director for the Nigeria Women Football League.

His previous roles also include being a member of the Nigeria Football Federation's Women’s Football Development Committee in 2019.
