Sanwo-Olu Celebrates Afenifere Leader Fasoranti at 100

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu congratulated elder statesman and leader of Afenifere, Reuben Fasoranti, on the occasion of his 100th birthday. In a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu described Fasoranti as a committed leader dedicated to the survival and discipline of the Yoruba people, following in the footsteps of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

The governor lauded Fasoranti's contributions to the development of Yorubaland and Nigeria, recognizing him as a respected statesman whose impact on education, leadership, and public service remains indelible. Sanwo-Olu commended Fasoranti for his courage and uncompromising leadership, noting his commitment to public service and community development.

He expressed pride in celebrating Fasoranti's centenary on behalf of the Lagos State government and the people of the Southwest, wishing him good health and wisdom for the years ahead.
