Tinubu Orders Defence Minister to Kebbi After Schoolgirls Abduction

Nigerian politician Bola Tinubu has instructed Defence Minister Bello Matawalle to move to Kebbi state after the abduction of 25 schoolgirls. Matawalle, a former governor of Zamfara state, will focus on securing the release of the kidnapped students.

This action comes after recent attacks, including the abduction of schoolgirls in Maga town. Tinubu postponed his trip to South Africa and Angola to receive security briefings on the Kebbi abduction and other incidents like the attack on a church in Kwara state.
