SDP Expels Former Leaders Over Misconduct

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has expelled its former National Chairman, Shehu Musa Gabam, former National Youth Leader, Ogbonna Chukwuma Uchechukwu, and others for alleged misconduct, financial misappropriation, and abuse of office. The decision was reached during an SDP National Working Committee meeting in Abuja after a thorough investigation and disciplinary process.

The party also suspended officials found violating party regulations and constitution. Additionally, eight other members were expelled for disloyalty and unlawful entry into the party's secretariat.

The expulsions were deemed necessary to restore integrity and discipline within the party.
