SEC Seeks Stronger Collaboration with Police to Combat Cybercrime

The Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Dr. Emomotimi Agama, met with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun in Abuja to discuss strengthening collaboration between SEC and the Nigeria Police Force in combating cybercrime and financial offenses affecting the capital market.

The meeting aimed to enhance inter-agency cooperation, improve intelligence sharing, and build capacity to address emerging threats within the financial sector.
