Nigerian Senate Confirms Ayo Omidiran as FCC Chairman Alongside 37 Members

The Nigerian Senate has confirmed Ayo Omidiran as the Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC) along with 37 other nominees. Omidiran, a former House of Representatives member from Osun State, succeeded Dr.

Muheeba Dankaka. The nominees, including Kayode Oladele and others from various states, were approved by the Senate Committee on Federal Character.

The confirmation process was devoid of any criminal or legal issues. The new FCC board has been inaugurated by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
