Senator Natasha Akpoti is taking action to seek justice for Ochanya Elizabeth Ogbanje, a 13-year-old rape victim who tragically passed away. Ochanya alleged that she was raped by her aunt's husband, Andrew Ogbuja, and his son, Victor Ogbuja, leading to complications and her eventual death.

The suspects, including Andrew Ogbuja, a lecturer at Benu State Polytechnic, were reportedly released, prompting Senator Akpoti to request the family of the deceased to write a petition for official follow-up on the case.
