Senator Sunday Katung Joins APC in Kaduna South, Cites Desire to Serve People

Senator Sunday Katung made a significant move by leaving the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna South. In a statement, Katung expressed his decision to switch parties as driven by his desire to serve the people.

He mentioned being influenced by calls from President Bola Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani, who he acknowledged as partners in bringing development to the region. Additionally, several members of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, including Daniel Amo, also joined the defection.

Katung urged unity and support to avoid political differences straining personal relationships.
