Seplat Energy Declares Dividends for 2025 Financial Year

Seplat Energy PLC has declared a final dividend of US5 cents and a special dividend of US3.3 cents per ordinary share for the financial year ending December 31, 2025. This announcement was made in a corporate notice released on February 26, 2026.

The dividends will be paid to shareholders whose names appear on the register as of the close of business on May 15, 2026. The dividends are subject to applicable withholding tax.

The register of shareholders will close on May 18, 2026, to allow the registrar, Datamax Registrar, to prepare for payment. Shareholders without valid Capital Importation Certificates (CIC) will receive dividends in Naira, while those with valid CIC will receive payments in US dollars.

Shareholders holding Depository Interests on the London Stock Exchange will also be paid in US dollars, with the exchange rate for the Naira portion determined on May 14, 2026. The company will communicate further details to shareholders on May 15, 2026.

Seplat Energy is listed on both the Nigerian Exchange and the London Stock Exchange and reported an adjusted EBITDA of $1.28 billion, with operational profit increasing to $675 million.
