Seplat Energy Plc has announced the applicable exchange rate for converting its Q1 2026 interim dividend and special dividend into Naira for eligible shareholders. The rate is based on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) rate published by the Central Bank of Nigeria on 4 June 2026.

Seplat Energy Plc disclosed on 5 June 2026 the exchange rate to be used in calculating the Naira equivalent of its Q1 2026 interim dividend and special dividend. The applicable rate is US$1.00 = ₦1,358.75, sourced from the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) rate as published by the Central Bank of Nigeria on 4 June 2026.

The rate applies specifically to shareholders who have elected to receive their dividend payment in Naira (₦), rather than in US dollars. The Company noted that shareholders should refer to its earlier announcement dated 30 April 2026 for the definition of default currency, available on the Seplat Energy website.

The announcement was signed by Eleanor Adaralegbe, Chief Financial Officer of Seplat Energy Plc. Seplat Energy is dual-listed on the Premium Board of the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX: SEPLAT) and the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange (LSE: SEPL). The Company describes itself as Nigeria's leading indigenous energy company, with operations spanning onshore and shallow water assets in the Niger Delta region.
