Seun Kuti and Wizkid FC Engage in Intense Social Media Feud

Nigerian pop star Wizkid and Seun Kuti, son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, are currently engaged in a social media feud that shows no signs of abating. The conflict began when Seun Kuti attempted to act as a peacemaker, urging Wizkid to show respect to Fela Kuti.

However, his efforts were met with resistance as Wizkid's fans, known as Wizkid FC, stood by their idol. Seun Kuti directly addressed Wizkid in an Instagram video, criticizing him for not changing his tattoo that references Fela Kuti and for his interactions with fellow artist Burna Boy.

The feud has also involved other family members of Seun Kuti issuing warnings to Wizkid. Despite the ongoing dispute, Wizkid's supporters have been enjoying the back-and-forth interactions on social media.

In the midst of this controversy, Wizkid released a highly anticipated documentary titled "Long Live Lagos" on HBO in recent days.
